Frequently asked questions

Everything parents usually want to know before starting the first quest.

What is ThinkForTreats?
ThinkForTreats is a web app that turns the everyday rewards parents already give — ice cream, screen time, a trip to the park — into short puzzle adventures for kids aged 5–10. The parent types a reward, AI writes a themed quest of 5 multiple-choice puzzles, and the child solves them on an adventure map. The reward only unlocks when the parent enters a private PIN. A quest takes about 5–10 minutes.
How much does ThinkForTreats cost?
You can start free: a 3-day trial with up to 9 quests, no credit card and nothing to cancel. Pro plans, which add more subjects, repeating quests, Insights and more child profiles, cost $3.99/mo to $5.99/mo depending on the billing period, and you can upgrade any time from inside the app.
What ages is ThinkForTreats designed for?
Best for ages 5–10. You pick a difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard) when you create each quest, and the AI generates puzzles to match.
What kind of rewards can I set?
You type any reward you like — ice cream, a trip to the park, screen time, a new book — and the AI builds an adventure story around it. This works on both the free trial and the Pro plan.
How does the parent PIN work?
You set a private 4-digit PIN. When your child finishes all puzzles, the reward stays locked until you enter the PIN — so you’re always in control of when treats are claimed.
Is the AI content safe for kids?
Yes. All AI-generated content—including inputs and outputs—is strictly guardrailed and protected. Stories and puzzles are tuned for age-appropriate, friendly content with no scary themes, no ads, and no in-app purchases shown to kids.
Can I create profiles for more than one child?
The free trial includes 1 child profile. Unlimited kid profiles are a Pro feature — each adventurer gets their own quest map and progress.
What are badges and trophies?
Badges & trophies are part of ThinkForTreats Pro. Every quest a child plays counts toward 5 badges: Treasure Hunter, Perfect Score, Streak, Explorer and Beat the Clock. Each one climbs Bronze → Silver → Gold, and a badge never goes back down once it is earned. The child sees only the badges they have won, with a celebration on their adventure map for each new one, and tapping a badge explains what it means and what the next level needs.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The free trial requires no payment and there is nothing to cancel: you get 3 days and up to 9 quests (max 3 per day). It ends after 3 days or once you’ve used all 9 quests, whichever comes first.
