Terms of service

Last updated 30 September 2026

The short version

ThinkForTreats is a tool for parents. You hold the account, you choose the rewards, and you decide when one is handed over. Keep quest prompts child-friendly, check what the AI writes before your child plays it, and cancel Pro whenever you like. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Who we are

ThinkForTreats is operated by Arif Ul Islam, an independent developer (“we” and “us” below). You can reach us at support@thinkfortreats.com.

Who can use it

The account holder must be an adult: a parent, guardian, or another adult with the child’s parent’s permission. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Children play the quests you create for them, on your device and under your supervision. They do not get accounts of their own, and they must not create an account, subscribe, or change your settings.

Your account and PIN

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep that inbox secure. You set a 4-digit Parent PIN that is required to claim a reward and to delete anything. Keep it away from your child. We store only a hash of it and cannot tell you what it is, and repeated wrong attempts lock it for a short time. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The free trial

The trial lasts 3 days and covers up to 9 quests (at most 3 per day) for 1 child profile. It ends after 3 days or once the 9 quests are used, whichever comes first. It needs no card and never turns into a paid plan on its own. After it ends, your existing quests stay playable and claimable; only creating new ones stops.

Pro subscriptions

Pro is a recurring subscription, billed in advance on the plan you choose:

  • Monthly: Billed $5.99 monthly.
  • Quarterly: Billed $14.97 every 3 months.
  • Annual: Billed $47.88 yearly.

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are added where they apply. Pro allows up to 6 quests per day across all your children, with no lifetime cap.

Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the subscription to you as our merchant of record. Its checkout terms also apply to the purchase, and it issues your receipts and charges any sales tax.

Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on while Lemon Squeezy retries it. If the payment can’t be collected, Pro ends.

Cancelling. Cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Until that date you can resume the subscription from the same place.

Price changes. If we change a price, we will tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.

Refunds

Payments are not refunded. Cancel any time and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. A charge made in error is refunded. The details are in our refund and cancellation policy.

Content rules

A reward name is shown to a child, so it has to be suitable for one. Don’t enter profanity, insults, or sexual, hateful, or violent language, and don’t put personal details (PINs, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers, or a child’s real name or address) into a reward or a profile.

Prompts are screened automatically. If 3 prompts are blocked for inappropriate language within 30 days, quest creation is suspended for 7 days. You are warned before that happens, and your children can still play and claim the quests they already have. The full rules are on the how to use page.

Don’t try to get around a limit, a suspension, or the PIN, scrape or overload the service, or use it to generate anything other than quests for children in your care.

AI-generated quests

Stories and puzzles are written by an AI model and are not reviewed by a person before you see them. We screen them, but a puzzle can still be wrong, confusing, or pitched at the wrong level. Skim a quest before handing over the device, and tell us through the feedback form when something looks off. ThinkForTreats is a game that encourages thinking; it is not a curriculum and does not replace schooling.

Rewards are yours to give

ThinkForTreats does not supply, buy, or deliver any reward. The reward is whatever you promise your child, and whether and when you hand it over is always your decision. The PIN exists so that decision stays with you.

Your content

What you enter (reward names, nicknames, avatars) stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, including sending reward text to our AI provider to generate your quests. We do not use it to train AI models or for advertising.

The app, its design, and its code belong to us. The quests generated for you are yours to use with your family.

Deleting and ending

You can delete a quest your child hasn’t finished, or a child profile with no quests, from inside the app. Completed and claimed quests are a permanent record and can’t be deleted on their own. Deleting doesn’t give back a quest slot. To close your account and delete everything in it, email support@thinkfortreats.com. Cancel any Pro subscription first, so you aren’t charged again.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Unless the law or the safety of a child requires otherwise, we will tell you why first.

Availability and liability

We work to keep ThinkForTreats running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”. It may occasionally be unavailable, and features may change. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is established. If you live somewhere that gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts, you keep that right.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we will update this page and its “last updated” date. If the change is significant, we will also email you before it takes effect. Questions: support@thinkfortreats.com.
