How to use ThinkForTreats

From PIN to prize in 5 simple steps

You set the reward. Our AI builds the adventure. Your child earns it by solving puzzles β€” and you confirm with a PIN only you know.

  1. Step 1

    Set your Parent PIN

Open Settings and create a 4-digit PIN that only you know. You'll use it to approve reward claims and to remove adventurers or quests.

  2. Step 2

    Add an adventurer

Create a profile for your child with a nickname and avatar. The 3-day free trial covers up to 1 adventurer(s) and up to 9 quests between them (max 3 per day).

  3. Step 3

Create a quest with a real reward

Pick the adventurer, type the real-world reward (ice cream, screen time, a park trip…), and choose a difficulty. Our AI builds an adventure with 5 puzzles.

  4. Step 4

Hand the device to your child

Open the adventurer's map and let them solve puzzle by puzzle. Progress saves automatically β€” they can stop and return any time.

  5. Step 5

Approve the reward with your PIN

When all 5 puzzles are solved, your child taps Claim. Enter your Parent PIN to confirm the reward β€” then deliver it in real life. That's the magic moment.

Tips for happy quests

Pick rewards that motivate

The best rewards are small, specific, and meaningful: a chosen bedtime story, choosing dinner, an extra 20 minutes of screen time.

Your PIN is the only key

Without your PIN, no reward can be claimed and no adventurer or quest can be removed. Don't share it with your child.

Match the difficulty

Easy works great for ages 5–6, Medium for 7–8, Hard for 9–10. You can always create a new quest at a different level if it feels off.

Cheer on every badge (Pro)

With Pro, every quest counts toward 5 badges, each climbing Bronze β†’ Silver β†’ Gold, and they never go back down. Tap one on your child's profile to see what it means, and make a fuss of each new one.

Fair use & content rules

The terms you agree to by using ThinkForTreats.

  • Keep quest prompts child-friendly

A reward name is read aloud to a child, so it has to be safe for one. Profanity, insults, sexual, hateful, and violent language are blocked automatically before anything is generated.

  • 3 blocked prompts suspends quest creation for 7 days

Blocked prompts are counted over a rolling 30 days, and you are warned each time before the limit is reached. During a suspension your children can still play the quests they already have, and you can still approve rewards with your PIN β€” only creating new quests pauses.

  • Never put personal details in a reward

PINs, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, and card numbers are detected and rejected. This is not counted against you β€” just remove the detail and try again.

  • Quests are AI-generated

Stories and puzzles are written by an AI model and are not reviewed by a person first. Skim a quest before handing over the device, and use the feedback form if something looks wrong.

  • Usage limits

The 3-day free trial covers 9 quests for up to 1 child profile. The Pro plan allows up to 6 quests per day, with no lifetime cap and no limit on child profiles. Deleting a quest or child profile does not give the slot back.
